This should open up some interesting possibilities. With this license I'll be able to get tanks refilled at dive shops, stay underwater for extended periods (the helmet was only good for 45 minutes per charge) and emplace much larger habitats/experiments in much deeper water. I am also beginning the design phase of an inflatable single person habitat. Like, for humans. Stay tuned.
Nice!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on an earlier post, but just in case... I've been looking into building a project that KickStarter also will not fund (for-profit social site), and it's pretty obvious that don't give a fluttering shit about stuff like that on that site. However, IndieGogo does give a shit, or at least seems too. They even allow you to keep money in a partially funded project, and also to fund stages of your project, which KickStarter won't let you do. I'm planning on using them, and I'd hate to see these projects fall by the wayside due to lack of funding. I really think you could do well on there, even with your diving helmet. I haven't used them yet, but it's currently my plan.
ReplyDeleteThanks, definitely been researching IndieGogo recently.
ReplyDeleteMay have missed a previous post answering this question.
ReplyDeleteAre you ever doing comics again?
I dunno. Probably not. That led to a lot of attacks, and hardship for me.
DeleteSorry to hear that, you were really good.
DeleteGood luck in whatever you do.
It's good to see that an arrangement of courses on open water PADI certification. it's really a good thinking. I have a question. Can anyone tell me about the course fee? Is it very expensive?
